Joan Marie Parsh's Obituary
Joan Marie Parsh, age 81, of Vermilion, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at Wesleyan Village in Elyria.
She was born in Chesterland and had lived in Vermilion for 40 years. She previously lived in Cleveland.
Joan worked as a nurse’s aide at Kingston of Vermilion for 10 years and Golden Acres for three years, retiring in 2012.
She enjoyed drawing, watching movies, eating popcorn, and playing the piano.
Survivors include her daughters, Monica (Christopher) Guthrie of Avon, Janet (Dana) Mandryk of Batavia, son Louis (Stefan Batist) Mandryk of Delphos, grandchildren, Bradley (Stacy) Guthrie of Medina, Tyler (Stephanie) Guthrie of Independence, great-grandchild, Hailey, siblings, Carol (Jim) Watson, Sally Gerome, sister-in-law, Barbara Parsh, many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Helen (nee Andryc) Parsh and brother, Fred, brother-in-law, Nick Gerome.
Friends may call Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from 4-8PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Services will be held on Thursday at 11AM at the funeral home. Rev. Chuck Behrens will officiate.
