Jimmy F. Brunning's Obituary
Jimmy F. Brunning, age 83, of Grafton, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at University Hospital in Cleveland. He was born on December 4, 1942, in Gauley Bridge, West Virginia and has been a resident of Grafton for the past 33 years, moving from North Ridgeville.
Jimmy was a United States Navy Veteran and went on to work as a Group 3 Foundry worked for the Ford Motor Company, retiring after 38 years of service. He was a member of U.A.W. Local 1250 and the N.R.A.
Jimmy loved the outdoors and spent his free time hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his son James “Sammy” Brunning of Grafton; stepson Dwayne (Angie) Callaway of Wellington; grandchildren Tyler DeMarco of Elyria, Lindsey DeMarco of Nashville, TN and Cody Callaway of Elyria; great grandchildren Cohen and Emmett Callaway; sister Virginia Cole of West Virginia.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his wife Bobbie Ann (nee Crum); parents Charlotte Faye (nee Schoolcraft) and William Walters; brothers Jackie and Bobby Brunning.
Funeral Service Wednesday, May 27 at 12:00 p.m. at the Vine Community Church, 502 North Center Street, Lagrange 44050, where family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Rev. Ron Lilly will officiate. Interment will be in Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Eaton Township.
