Jim J. Jacob's Obituary
Jim J. Jacob, age 57, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at his home.
He was born in Parma, raised in Columbia Station and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 2001, moving from Elyria.
Jim was a self-employed electronics technician fixing sewing machines.
He loved cooking, canning, fishing, golfing, playing backgammon and working in the yard. He was very organized and enjoyed building things.
Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Michele Halagan, children, Brandon Joseph Jacob of Kentucky, Brittany “Charley” Gerhart stationed in Florida, stepchildren, Alicia (Matt) Branch of Cincinnati, Meghan Lynn Sumney of Chicago, sisters, Diane (Gerald) Shephard of Elyria, Christine (Eric) Swanson of Boise, Idaho, Kathleen (John) Keyse of Grafton, Cynthia (Duane) Klein of North Benton, many nieces and nephews and his pet dog, Lucy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dieter and June (nee Hammer) Jacob.
Services are private but will be live streamed on Bogner Family Funeral Home Facebook page at 1:00 PM Wednesday September 29, 2021. Private burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
