Jessie S. Bechtold's Obituary
Jessie S. Bechtold (nee Raymont), age 104, of Elyria, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2019 at Weslyan Village in Elyria.
She was born on December 4, 1914 in Cleveland and has lived in Elyria for the past 17 years, moving from Tucson, Arizona.
Jessie enjoyed doing many crafts, especially crocheting.
She is survived by her sons Elmer (Elaine) Bechtold of Strongsville and Ralph (Patricia) Bechtold of Elyria; daughter in law Jeanette Bechtold; 11 Grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 16 great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Philip J. Bechtold in 1982; sons Karl and Phillip Bechtold; daughter in law Joan Bechtold; parents Fred and Sophie (nee Regensberger) Raymont; sister Emma Bartlett; brothers Fred, Elmer and Ralph Raymont.
Memorial Service Saturday, April 27 at 2:00 p.m. in the Sunset Memorial Abbey Mausoleum Chapel, 6265 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, 44070. Rev. Alan Jenkins will officiate. Private inurnment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
