Jesse Root's Obituary
Jessie M. Root, age 95 of Avon, passed away Monday March 22, 2010 at her home following a
short illness.
She was born in Cleveland. She had been a resident of Avon the past 90 years.
Mrs. Root operated the Frank Root Greenhouse in Avon with her husband, until retiring in 1978. She also was a self employed real estate agent for over 30 years operating under the name Jessie Root Reality in Avon.
Surviving are sons Frank Jr. of Avon, daughter, Bobbi Matear of Avon, three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Husband of 70 years, Frank A. Root Sr. in 2006, Father, Rudolph A. Mittelstad, Mother, Mabel (neeWaite), son Jack Root in 2008 and her Grandson, Harry Root.
Friends will be received 6-8 PM Thursday at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Services will be held 11 AM Friday in the funeral home. Rev. Rick Young, Pastor of Liberty Baptist Church, Elyria will officiate.
Interment will follow in Garfield Cemetery, Sheffield Village.
