Jeffrey A Baker's Obituary
Jeffrey A. Baker, age 57, of North Ridgeville, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Mercy Regional Medical Center following a sudden illness.
He was born in Bay Village and had been a lifelong resident of North Ridgeville.
Jeff worked as a grounds keeper for Resthaven Memory Gardens for 30 years, then for the last 7 years worked with Zergotts Landscaping.
He was an avid Cleveland sports fan and enjoyed fishing, hunting and trapping. He especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren play baseball and softball, both sports he too played for many years.
Survivors include his son, David (Lora) Baker of N. Ridgeville; grandchildren, Daylon, Duke and Peyton Baker, Mother, Marguerite J. Baker of N. Ridgeville; Sisters, Diana Goode of Elyria, Gail (Gary) Kula of Middleburg Heights, Grace (Chuck) Johnson of Grafton and Linda (Bob) Matis of North Ridgeville.
He was preceded in death by his father, Russell “Don” Baker in 2005.
Friends may call Sunday from 5-8 p.m. at Bogner Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. A memorial service will be held Monday August 25 at 10:30 a.m. at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon. Rev. David Howell will officiate.
