Jefferson Oliver's Obituary
Jefferson Edward Oliver, age 62 years of Elyria, died Sunday, April 3, 2005 at Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky, following a long illness.
He was born December 5, 1942 in Lenoir, NC. He had resided in Elyria the past 4 years moving from Chardon.
Mr. Oliver served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He received the Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.
He was a warehouse worker at Macco Adhesives, in Wickliffe for 21 years.
Mr. Oliver enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his twin sons, Todd and Tad Oliver both of Scottsdale, Arizona; daughter, Heidi Ruyf of Cleveland, sister, Debbie Williams of Elyria, 4 brothers, Ron Oliver of Berlin Hts., David Oliver of Cleveland, Paul Waller of Sheffield Lake, Phil Waller of Elyria.
He was preceded in death by Parents, Roy Oliver and LaVarah Keesee, and one infant brother, Roger Dean Oliver.
Friends will be received 7-9, Wednesday, April 6 at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Where services will be held 9:00 AM Thursday with Reverend Gene Collings, Pastor of Jesus Christ Community Church, Elyria will officiate. Interment will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio.
