Jeanie I. Usher's Obituary
Jeanie I. Usher (nee Bentley), age 66, of Elyria, passed away at her home on Tuesday, November 3, 2015.
She was born in Braeholm, West Virginia and had been a resident of Elyria since 1992, moving from Grafton.
Jeanie worked as a registered nurse for Wesleyan Village in Elyria for 20 years.
She was an active member of The River Church, where she taught Sunday school and was involved with multiple ministries. She also loved to travel.
Survivors include her son Alan (Jennifer) Baker of Elyria; daughter, Sherrie Bassett of Lorain; mother, Octavia Springer of West Salem; grandchildren, Jeremiah (Eryka), Andrew, and Jared Baker, Krystal, Ricky and Mikey Bassett; great-grandchildren, Ashton and Bradley Baker; siblings, James Neece of Cleveland, Audrey Griffiths of Middleport, Nancy (Gene) Carper of Orwell, John Bentley of Bradenton, Florida and Margaret Bentley of West Salem.
She was preceded in death by her father, Frederick Bentley.
Friends may call Saturday from 10AM until the time of services at 11 AM at The River Church (formerly Church of God), 6000 Lear Nagle Rd., North Ridgeville. Rev. Larry and Trish Martinez will officiate.
Private burial will take place at a later date.
Arrangements were made by the Bogner Family Funeral Home, North Ridgeville.
