Jeanette S. Hamel's Obituary
Jeanette S. Hamel, age 64, of Cleveland, passed away Monday, May 17, 2021 at Ames Family Hospice in Westlake after a long illness. She was born March 31, 1957 in Cleveland where she had been a lifelong resident. She worked as a machine operator for Cenveo in Brooklyn for 14 years before retiring in 2007. She was a member of Northridge Christian Life Academy since 1989. Jeanette was an avid camper who enjoyed softball and spending time with friends and family. She is survived by her husband of 45 years George; sisters Carol Spurlock of Brooklyn, Amanda (Mathew) Reed of Cleveland; brother Carl Lee (Anne Marie) Hicks Jr. of Medina; stepmother Ruby Hicks of Strongsville; six nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Carl Hicks Joyce Akin. Services and burial at Fields Cemetery in North Ridgeville will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Northridge Christian Life Academy 8877 Avon Beldon Rd., North Ridgeville, 44039. Arrangements by Bogner Family Funeral Home.
