Jean Buhia Villanueva Sloan's Obituary
Jean Buhia Villanueva Sloan, age 50, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Louis Stokes VA Medical Center in Cleveland.
She was born in Bacolod Mindanao, Philippines and had been a resident of Elyria since 2009.
Jean worked as a dietary aide for Brookdale Senior Living.
She loved shopping, watches, anything electronic, cooking and socializing with friends and family.
Survivors include her husband, Michael; stepdaughter, Alisha (Cory) Hamrick of Beavercreek; apo, Amelia Hamrick; siblings, Sol, Luz, Nelson, Grace, Raul, Lyn, Fe; many nieces, nephews and friends throughout the United States and Philippines.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gregario and Marcelina (nee Buhia) Villanueva; sister, Simplicia.
Friends may call Monday from 4PM until the time of services at 7PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Joseph Scallco, CSJ, administrator, will officiate.
Burial will be in the Philippines.
