Janice L. Pettit's Obituary
Janice L. Pettit (nee Quinn), age 83, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2020 at her home.
She was born on November 4, 1936 in Wheeling, West Virginia and has been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 59 years, moving from Cleveland. Janice was a parishioner at St. Julie Billiart Church in North Ridgeville and was the past President of the Ladies Auxiliary at V.F.W. Post 9871, North Ridgeville.
Her greatest joy was found in spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters Victoria McDowell of West Virginia, Teresa (Tom) Nagel of Litchfield and Carol (Shane) Roberson of Galveston, TX; son James (Ruqaiijah) Elliot of St. Louis, MO; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brother James Quinn; many nieces and nephews.
Janice was preceded in death by her husband James; parents James and Hilda (nee O’Hara) Quinn; sister Nancy Glass.
There will be no services in accordance with the wishes of Janice. Due to Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery guidelines, graveside services are currently unavailable. The family would like anyone who wishes to honor Janice to do so in a way that is meaningful and safe for them. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, www.nationalmssociety.org
