Janice Carol Linden's Obituary
Janice Carol “Jan” Linden, age 86, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2022 at the University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center.
She was born in Lorain on December 28, 1935 and has resided in North Ridgeville since 1968, moving from Avon Lake.
Jan was a graduate of Lorain High School, Class of 1954, where she was a member of the National Honor Society. She attended City Hospital School of Nursing, Western Reserve University and Lorain Business College.
She worked as an accountant with Standard Oil Company, later becoming BP America, for 33 years, retiring in 1991.
She was a member of the Elyria First Methodist Church since 1977, where she served on the communion committee, and belonged to the Elizabeth Stevens Mission Group. She was also a member of the Muirwood Village Condo Owners Group.
Jan enjoyed reading and was an avid Cleveland Indians and Browns fan and enjoyed watching professional boxing.
She is survived by her dear friend Mary Jane Tabor and Goddaughter Carrie Fredere.
Preceding her in death are her parents James and Margaret (nee Bastion) Linden.
Graveside service will be held on Friday, July 15 at 1:00 p.m. at Ridge Hill Cemetery, Amherst. Rev. Kurt Walker will officiate.
