Janice M. King's Obituary
Janice M. King (nee Meyers), age 91, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at O’Neill Healthcare in Bay Village.
She was born in Lorain and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1974.
Janice worked as a clerk for NASA from 1966 until she retired in 1989.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Elyria and enjoyed crafts, playing the piano, camping and her dog, Buddy.
Survivors include her sister, Linda Donohue of Jacksonville, Florida, sister-in-law, Betty Meyers of Vermilion, nephew, Jeff (Jan) Meyers, nieces, Moriah (Fred) Crawford, Brittany and Leanne Donohue, Katie (Patrick) Wheeler, great nephews and nieces, Hayden Crawford, Amber Hollins, Laura McAfoos (John Davenport), Eileen (Mark) Mikolajczk, Thomas (Elizabeth) Meyers, Jamie (Robert) Winebrenner, Mackenzie Wheeler, great-great nephews and nieces, Charlotte Meyers, Amelia Meyers, Joliana McAfoos, Adika McAfoos, Eli Winebrenner and Zoey Winebrenner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John, brother, Neil Meyers, parents, J. Floyd and Helen Meyers, nephews, David and Kenneth Meyers.
The family will receive friends Monday August 12, 2024, from 10 AM until time of service at 11 AM at Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Rd. N. Ridgeville. Reverend Tennille Power will officiate. Services will be livestreamed at Bogner Family Funeral Home Facebook page. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon.
