Janice Marie Jones' Obituary
Janice Marie Jones (nee Alwin) age 77, of LaGrange, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2016 at Mercy New Life Hospice Residential Center in Lorain.
She was born in Elyria and lived most of her life in LaGrange. She was a resident of the AbbeWood Senior Living Community since January 2015.
Janice worked as the Club House Manager for Pheasant Run Golf Course from 1992 until she retired in 2005.
She was a member of Pittsfield Community Church.
She was an avid golfer and enjoyed baking and hunting for arrowheads.
Survivors include her children, Lorie (Paul) Gorretta of Charlotte, North Carolina, Dean (Pam) Jones of Elyria and Kelly Jones of Wakeman; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and brother, Ronald Alwin of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Selma (nee Lehner) Alwin; brothers, Jim, Raymond and Tom Alwin; sister, Joyce Drenner.
Friends may call Tuesday from 10:30AM until the time of Memorial Service at 11AM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville.
Private burial will be at a later date at River Road Cemetery, LaGrange Twp.
