Janet R. Tite's Obituary
Janet R. Tite (nee Vimpeny), age 83, of North Ridgeville, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at UH Medical Center in Elyria following a brief illness.
She was born in Elyria on October 17, 1930 and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for the last 15 years and a lifelong resident of Lorain and Huron counties.
Janet retired from A.I. Root in Medina in 1998, where she worked as a specialized candle decorator for many years.
She enjoyed her flowers; nature, especially birds; crossword and picture puzzles; spending time with her children, grandchildren and mostly her great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters, Rita (Barton) Lockhart of North Ridgeville, Terri L. (Bob) Marquis of Avon, JoAnne L. (Michael) Freeman of Wellington; son, Robert M. Tite of Wakeman; 3 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Rev. Leonard (Edna) Vimpeny of Powhaton, Virginia; sister, Betty King of Texas; many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friend, Mary Winters of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her former husband, Dean W. Tite; sister, Millie Trupo; brother, Allen Vimpeny; grandson, Anthony Tite; parents, Alvin and Mildred (nee Smith) Vimpeny; special cousin, Donna Pritchett; half- sister, Corky Skidmore.
Friends may call Saturday from 12 Noon until the time of services at 1PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Chuck Behrens will officiate.
Burial will be in Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Eaton Twp.
