Janet Looney's Obituary
Janet K. Looney (nee Earl) age 61, of Elyria, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2008, at EMH Regional Medical Center, Elyria, following a short illness.
She was born in Wellington, where she had spent most of her life before moving to Elyria 8 years ago.
Mrs. Looney enjoyed buying and selling antiques.
Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Jim; daughter Shelly (Ron) Mitchell of Elyria; granddaughters Alyssa and Paige Mitchell both of Elyria; stepsons Tony Looney of Amherst, Jeff Looney of Lorain; stepdaughter Vickie Turner of Lorain; 6 step-grandchildren and sister, Donna Brlas of Wellington.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Ethel Earl and sister, Shirley Unger.
Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 PM Friday at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Saturday in the funeral home. Rev. Gene Collings, Pastor of Jesus Christ Community Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
