Janet A. Frank's Obituary
Janet A. Frank (nee Clement), age 90, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024.
She was born on May 9, 1933 in Brunswick, grew up in Elyria and has been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1951. She was a member of St. Peter Church in North Ridgeville.
Janet was the co-owner and operator with her husband at Don Frank’s Greenhouse, running the business together from 1959-1988.
First and foremost, Janet loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid reader, enjoyed bowling, and working the bingo night, as well as playing bingo. Janet would spend her winters near her siblings in Gulfport, Florida.
Janet is survived by her son Michael Frank; daughter-in-law Donna Frank, both of North Ridgeville; son-in-law Eric (Terry) Buterbaugh of North Ridgeville; grandchildren Erin (Jono) Yasutake of Twinsburg, Angela Buterbaugh of New Albany, IN, Robert Frank II of North Ridgeville and Shelbea Frank of North Ridgeville, great grandchildren Thea and Jackson Yasutake;
sister June Norton of Gulfport, FL; brother-in-law Melvin Shook of Elyria; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Donald; daughter Cynthia Buterbaugh; son Robert Frank; sister Jean Shook; brother John Clement; sister-in-law Rita Clement; brother-in-law Thomas Norton.
Family will receive friends in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville on Wednesday 4:00-7:00 p.m.
where a prayer service will be held on Thursday at 9:30 preceding a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville. The Mass will be live streamed through the St. Peter Church website at stpeternr.org Interment will be in St. Peter Cemetery.
