Janet Mae Ference's Obituary
Janet Mae Ference (nee Schaefer) age 80, of North Olmsted passed away peacefully at Holy Family Hospice Home in Parma on Saturday June 2, 2018.
She was born in Avon, OH, she had resided in North Olmsted for the past 5 years. She previously lived in North Ridgeville and Elyria.
Mrs. Ference worked as a nurse’s aid for Lutheran Home in Westlake for many years until retiring in 2000.
She enjoyed flower gardening, quilt piecing and being with her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are her daughters, Rachelle Ference of Medina and Renee (Stephen) Hubeny of Olmsted Falls, grandchildren Lyndsey Oldfield, Abby Oldfield, Ryan Hubeny, and Jonathan Hubeny, four great-grandchildren, brother, Leroy Schaefer of Kipton and sister, Alberta Wehlein of Elyria.
She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Jacob Schaefer, mother, Onna Schaefer (nee Reisinger), daughter Kim Oldfield and grandson, Aaron Oldfield.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-8 PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville where services will be held 11 AM Wednesday
with Rev. Mar Bruner officiating.
Interment will follow in the Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Eaton Township.
