James R. Western Jr.'s Obituary
James R. Western Jr., age 54, of Elyria, passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at the University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
He was born on March 23, 1967 in Knoxville, Tennessee and has been a resident of Elyria for the past 39 years. James worked as a quality control technician for Carpenter Technology.
In his free time, James enjoyed fishing, swimming and spending time with his family playing board games. He also loved thunderstorms and rain.
He is survived by his son Michael (Donna) Western of Elyria; daughters Makenna (Robbie) Western of Oberlin and Katherine Brooke of West Virginia; numerous Grandchildren; mother Patricia Western; brother Ron Western of Georgia. Nephews Spencer Western of Elyria, Zackary Western of Lakewood, niece Olivia Western of Elyria. James was preceded in death by his father James Western Sr., brother John Western.
Funeral Service Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville, where family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until time of service. Celebrant Barbara Habecker will officiate. Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic, face coverings and proper social distancing will be required at all times.
Interment will be private.
