James Scott Webb's Obituary
James Scott Webb (Buddy) age 89, went to his heavenly home while surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday Nov. 4, 2025. He was born January 29, 1936, in Edwight WVa, the Son of the late Quincy (Dude) Webb & Ruth Ash Webb Clay.
Millwright by trade, he retired from LTV Steel in 2000. He was a long-time member of Christian Unity Church.
Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his precious son Lacy Scott Webb in 1987, his stepfather Lacy Clay , his brother Quincy (Ted) Webb and brother and sister-in-law Tommy & Susie Webb , sister and brother-in-law Nancy and Russell Lares , & Niece Gina Jarrell
Left to cherish his memory is his devoted wife of 70 years Peggy Webb, his daughter , and son-in-law Sharon & Troy George, grandchildren Corbin, and wife, Carmen George, and Saphira George, all of Maumee Ohio , and his great grandson, Azariah and a precious bundle due in April . Several Nieces and Nephews. He was a hard-working Christian man who would do anything to help a neighbor he will always be remembered and missed by his family and friends.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 2-4PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. A graveside service will be held at 1 PM Monday at Adkins Cemetery, Naoma West Virginia. Rev. Neal Brock will officiate.
