James Wallace's Obituary
James H. Wallace, 79, of North Ridgeville, passed away peacefully at Wesleyan Village, Elyria on Wednesday, February 02, 2011 after a long illness.
James was born on January 27, 1932 in Taylorstown, PA and has resided in North Ridgeville for the last 33 years. He worked as a milkman for both Sealtest and Horton's Dairy. James was very proud of his service in the United States Navy where he served during the Korean War. He was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Elyria and the American Legion Post 12 in Elyria. James really enjoyed watching sports, meeting and talking with people.
James is survived by his wife of 56 years, June; sons, James of North Ridgeville, Robert (Cindy) of Avon and John (Darlene) of Avon; and grandchildren, Brian, Jason, Emily and Lisa.
He was preceded in death by his parents James Sr. and Charlotte Wallace; sister, Sarah Wallace-Ramage; and brother, Hugh.
Friends may call at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville on Sunday from 2 - 5 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, February 7, 2011 at 11 AM. Reverend Malcolm Peel, former Pastor of First United Presbyterian Church will officiate. Interment to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon. Memorial donations to the First United Presbyterian Church, 200 East Ave., Elyria, OH 44035-5615 would be appreciated by the family.
