James "Slim" L. Wykle's Obituary
James L. “Slim” Wykle, age 73, of Elyria, passed away Friday, March 11, 2022 at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland. He was born in West Virginia and had been a lifelong resident of Elyria. He was a custodian for Midview Schools for over 40 years before retiring in 2009. Slim golfed in the Carlisle Golf League for many years and enjoyed repairing clocks and working on cars in his younger years. He is survived by his children Robin Hubbard of WV., Joy (Jason) Widdowson of Wakeman, James II (Jessica) of Grafton; stepsons Bill Gill of Sheffield, Scott (Mary) Gill of GA., John Gill of Carlisle, Kevin Gill of Carlisle; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; siblings Margaret, Barbara, Linda, Dorothy, Richard, Lee. He is preceded in death by his wife Judith in 2016; parents Zernie and Bessie Wykle; siblings Ed, Hubert, Ilene, Kenny, Will. Family will receive friends Wednesday, March 16, 2022 from 10 am until the time of service at 12 pm at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd, North Ridgeville.
