James A. Reece's Obituary
James Arnold Reece, age 89, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Mercy New Life Hospice of St. Joseph in Lorain.
He was born in Gallipolis and lived most of his life in Cleveland and North Ridgeville.
He served in the US Army during WWII.
Jim worked in sales for Pepsi-Cola for 45 years before retiring in 1997.
He was a member of Fields United Methodist Church in North Ridgeville and the Teamsters Union.
He enjoyed bowling, billiards, reading, golfing, telling stories and jokes, but mostly spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Kathy (nee Swaddell); children, Sandy (Gary) McMillan of West Virginia, Robert Dungan of Grafton, Richard Dungan of Arkansas, Deborah (Don) Sheldon of Avon; grandchildren, Kori, Katie, Brooke, Marissa, Robby, Max and Missy; several great-grandchildren; brother, Tom (Doris) Reece of West Virginia and sister, Margie (Butch) Legg of Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his son, Gary and his parents Arnold Reece and Nannie (nee Graves).
Friends may call Friday from 4-7PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville and on Saturday from 10AM until the time of services at 11 AM at Fields United Methodist Church, 34077 Lorain Rd., North Ridgeville. Rev. Dr. Tom Joyce, Pastor, will officiate.
Burial will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
