James Sheldon Padley's Obituary
James Padley, age 81, of Litchfield, passed away on October 22, 2016 at Medina Hospice Care Center. He was born in Elyria and had been a resident of Litchfield since 2009.
Jim worked as a tool and die maker for over 50 years. He retired from Lear Corp in 2004. He previously owned and operated Jim’s Auto Body in PA and Padley Brothers Auto Body in North Ridgeville.
He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, watching westerns, working on cars, and building homes. Jim was known to be a Jack-of-all- trades. He was a former member of the Loyal Order of Moose.
He is survived by his sons, Tom (Kathy) of Brazil, and Ed (Monica) of Olmsted Township; daughters, Cindy (Bob) Schiavoni of Litchfield, and Jennifer (Mike) Ireland of Winchester, VA, 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and a brother, Ken (Marilyn) of North Ridgeville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Florence, and a brother, Daniel.
Private family graveside service was held at the Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Eaton Township.
