James M Miles' Obituary
James M. Miles, age 75, of North Ridgeville passed away Sunday September 19, 2021 at his home. Born in New Castle, PA and was a resident of North Ridgeville for over 50 years. Mr. Miles earned a Bachelors’ Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Grove City College. He worked for LTV Steel and more recently for RT Patterson Engineering until retiring in 2013. He enjoyed model trains, playing golf and pinochle or just spending time with family and friends. James was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and a social member of VFW Post 9871, North Ridgeville. Survivors include his wife Dottie Skunsk, sons James (Heather) Miles of Strongsville, Brian Miles of Elyria, Adam (Cindy) Miles of Cleveland, daughter, Erin (Emiliano) Sazo of North Ridgeville, grandchildren, Mackenzie, James, Kelly, Samantha, Andrew, Logan, Ryan and Veda and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, James, and Margaret (nee Sweeney) Miles. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 24th from 4pm to 8pm at Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. There will also be a mass at St. Peter Church 35777 Center Ridge Rd, North Ridgeville, on Saturday September 25, 2021 at 10am. Burial will follow. Father Joe Robinson will officiate. Immediately following the burial, there will be a gathering at Tom's Country Place. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children Research Hospital www.stjude.org
