James E. Milbrandt's Obituary
James E. Milbrandt, age 78, of Columbia Station, passed away on March 21, 2018 at Villa Camillus Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a lengthy illness.
He was born August 28, 1939 in Cleveland, OH and has been a resident of Eaton Township for the past 32 years. He worked in heating and air conditioning at Bay Furnace,
James enjoyed old cars, and was a member of the Men Out To Breakfast Car Club as well as a social member of the North Ridgeville V.F.W., Post 9871.
He is survived by his wife Frances "Penny" (nee Gilgenbach); sons Mike (Audra) Milbrandt, John Milbrandt of Tampa, FL, daughters Nancy (Gene) Whitaker of Indianapolis, IN, Connie Milbrandt of Mount Ida, AR; sister Josephine (Jim) Grospitch of Avon Lake; sister in law Pat Milbrandt; 9 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
James is preceded in death by his parents George and Josephine (nee Blaha), and brother George Milbrandt.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd, North Ridgeville, where a prayer service will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. preceding a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St Peter Church. Rev. Bob Franco will officiate. Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
The family suggests donations be made in Jame’s name to the Southwest General Health Foundation, 18697 Bagley Road, C-105,Middleburg Heights, 44130.
