James McClung's Obituary
James McClung, age 90, of Elyria, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at his home.
He was born in Runa, West Virginia and had been a resident of Elyria for 67 years.
James worked as a Letter carrier for the Rocky River Post Office, retiring in 1990 after 39 years.
He was a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers and enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and just a little bit of everything.
Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline (nee Miller), daughters, Pamela Weaver of Elyria, Barbara (Steve) Zimmerly of Columbia Station, Brenda (Mitch) Beursken of Vermilion, grandchildren, J.C., Jacob, Sheila, Maverick, Matthew, Rachel and Kennedy, great-grandchildren, Ariana, David and Audrey, many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, James in 2013, brother, Curtis McClung Jr., sister, Donna Pickett, parents, Curtis and Glenna (nee Halstead) McClung.
Friends may call Tuesday, February 10, 2026 from 12PM until the time of services at 1PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Bill Shomo will officiate.
Burial will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
