James M. McCasson's Obituary
James, ‘Jim’ M. McCasson, age 75, of North Ridgeville passed away Friday July 15th, 2022 at his home after a short battle with brain and pancreatic cancer. He was born and raised in Lakewood where he attended school at St. James and Lakewood High School. Jim was a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 40 years.
He served in Vietnam during his enlisted time in the U.S Army. Jim was a member of Ironworkers Local 17 for 53 years.
Jim was a friend to all and loved by his family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers. He was a humble man that impacted many throughout his life.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Kathleen, son Michael McCasson, daughters Erin (Joshua) Grogan, Kristyn (Ehren) Bernett, grandchildren Zachary, Hanna, Zoey, Bryson, James, Landon, and Logan, siblings Tom McCasson, Marilyn Hanton, Pati Pope, and Dan McCasson.
He was preceded in death by his parents Bud and Rose McCasson and sister Nora.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 19, 2022, from 5-8pm at Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Rd. North Ridgeville where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at 11am. Rev Chuck Behrens will officiate.
