James M. Leonardi's Obituary
James M. Leonardi, age 79, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at his home.
Born in Cleveland and raised in Mayfield Village, he had been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 12 years, after living in Chardon for most of his adult life.
James served in the United States Army and worked as a mechanical engineer for Picker for many years.
He enjoyed fishing and boating and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Joyce (nee Fine), sons, Bart (Kristy) Leonardi of Grafton, Jason (Natasha) Leonardi of Moscow, Russia, and grandchildren, Katie, Abby, Maria, and Giovanni.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Catherine (nee Cunningham) Leonardi and brothers, Martin and Michael Leonardi.
Friends may call Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 4-8PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at 10AM at Mary Queen of Peace, 4423 Pearl Road, Cleveland. Fr. Doug Brown will be the celebrant. Please meet at the church.
Burial will immediately follow the Mass at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Avon.
