James "Jimmy" Gregory Fetcko Jr.'s Obituary
James Gregory 'Jimmy' Fetcko, Jr., 61, of North Ridgeville, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at the St. John Medical Center in Westlake after a sudden illness. He was born May 31, 1962 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, and has been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 28 years.
He is a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in North Ridgeville. Jimmy was the CEO and President of Ohio Screw Products, was a 25 year member of the PMPA and formerly on the Board of Directors for JVS. In his free time, he acted as coach for the North Ridgeville Amateur Soccer League for 14 years. Jimmy was a very accomplished musician. He was the founding member of Maiden America and was also a member of the following bands: Saturn, Destiny, Syndicate, OMCB and Capture.
Jimmy is survived by his wife of 31 years, Catherine 'Kitty' (nee Kubanda); sons, Stephan James (Jocelyn Bires) of Rocky River and Spencer James (Jordyn Daycak) of Lakewood; mother, Judith Fetcko of Pennsylvania; siblings, Jamie (Stan) Kieta of Pennsylvania, John (Jonell) Fetcko of California, Jill Freeman of Pennsylvania, Jeffrey (Cindy) Fetcko of Pennsylvania and Jerrod (Bobbie Jo) Fetcko of Pennsylvania; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jean Glacken of North Olmsted, Stephen (Sharon) Kubanda of Florida, Trish Schutte of Pennsylvania, Mary Beth (Dan) Mikesic of Pennsylvania and Danette (PJ) Bakhtiar of Strongsville; 27 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, James G. Fetcko, Sr.
Family will receive friends in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville on Sunday, July 16, 2023 from 3 to 7 p.m. and Monday, July 17, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. for a prayer service preceding a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Peter Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. The Reverend Bob Franco will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
