James Glover's Obituary
James R. "Jim" Glover, 71, of North Ridgeville, died on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at Saint John Westshore Hospital, Westlake; following a long illness.
He was born October 7, 1935 in Empire, AL and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1968.
He worked for Ford Motors, Brookpark 44 years as a machine operator. He retired in 2004.
Mr. Glover was a member of the UAW Local # 1250, the American Legion Post 717, North Eaton and the Elyria Moose.
He enjoyed fishing, camping and especially his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Julia M. "Judy" (nee Weekley) Glover; son, Keith (Christine) Glover, of North Olmsted; daughter, Karen (Richard) Combs, of Lorain; grandchildren, Nicole, Kyle and Julieanne Glover, and Jessica and Dylan Combs; sister, Janette Lockhart, of Mobil, AL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Loyd and Myrtle (nee Madison) Glover; brother, Jimmy L. Glover; and nephew, Jimmy L. Glover, Jr.
Friends will be received on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville; where services will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM. Pastor Jim Barta, associate at Faith Baptist Temple, North Ridgeville, will officiate. Interment will follow in Ridgeville Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
