James Diffenbacher's Obituary
James E. Diffenbacher, age 49, of Lakewood, died Friday following a sudden illness.
He was born in Berea and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for 17 yrs before moving to Lakewood.
He worked as an electrical engineer.
He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, North Ridgeville.
Mr. Diffenbacher enjoyed reading about history.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Diffenbacher; son, Matthew of North Ridgeville, Daughter, Emily Diffenbacher of North Ridgeville; his mother, Geraldine (nee McNamara) and stepfather, Charley Mayer of North Olmsted; brothers, Peter of Louisville, Kentucky, Thomas of Lakewood.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Diffenbacher in 1990.
Friends may call Monday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville where prayers services will be held on Tuesday at 9:30AM. A 10:00AM mass will follow at St. Peter Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Joseph Spolny, interim associate pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery.
