I remember, when we were in Junior High. My mom, Nancy had just remarried and we moved back out of Grandma Baker's, where we had been living with Jim and his dad (uncle) Jerry, over to Eastern Heights. Jim bought me my first vinyl LP that Christmas. It freaked me out because it was Dark Side of the Moon. I was almost scared to listen to it because I thought it would be a "dangerous influence". But it became the most beloved set of songs of my teens. And it was Jim, who, having had influences from the west coast, I always felt was way more hip than me, gave me this gift of music that I have treasured all my life. God Bless him and his family.
