James D. Baker's Obituary
James D. Baker, age 57, of Elyria, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at University Hospital Elyria Medical Center.
He was born in Sandusky and grew up in Elyria where he had been a resident for the past 27 years after returning from California.
James worked as a machinist for Tipton Machinery for the past 17 years.
He was a Cleveland sports fan and enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Maria (nee Garcia); daughters, Elizabeth (Andrew) Place of North Ridgeville, Natalie (Brittany) Baker of Alexandria, Virginia; brothers, Dan (Diane) Baker of Las Vegas, Robert (Ana) Baker of Reno, Nevada; sisters, Donna Baker (Lenny Young) and Cathy Baker both of Pahrump, Nevada, Rita (Randy) James and his twin, Joyce (Patrick) Del Prete both of San Diego, California; and mother, Verbena Blanchard of Pahrump, Nevada.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Baker.
Friends may call Wednesday from 4-6PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville.
