James L. Arnold's Obituary
James L. Arnold, age 83, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at St. John Medical Center in Westlake after a lengthy illness.
He was born on March 14, 1940 in Saxon, West Virginia and has been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 54 years, moving from Cleveland. James was a U.S. Army Veteran and went on to work as a quality Assurance Supervisor for Bettcher Manufacturing in Cleveland.
James was an avid bowler who truly enjoyed his time in the senior bowling league. The summer months would find him on the golf course, fishing, or spending time in the Metroparks. His greatest joy was found in spending time with his family.
He is survived by his daughter Jennifer Arnold of North Ridgeville; son Brian Arnold of Westlake; brother Bob Arnold of Dayton; sister-in-law Joan Arnold of West Virginia; many nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by his wife Eunice; parents William and Garnet Arnold; sister Eloise (Cecil) Browning; brothers Edgar (Julia), Scott, Leon and Roger Arnold.
Funeral Service Monday at 7:00 p.m. in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville, where family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until time of service. Rev. Buck Wilford will officiate. Interment will be private.
