Jackie P. Richardson's Obituary
Jackie Paul Richardson, age 79, of N. Ridgeville, went home to be with the Lord Sunday November 16, 2014 at UH Elyria Medical Center following a short illness. He was born in Wayne, WV. He had resided in N. Ridgeville the past 42 years after moving from Elyria. Mr. Richardson worked as a Mill Wright for Ford Motor Company, Brookpark Foundry for 28 years until retiring in 1997. He was a member of the UAW Local 1250 and the Cathedral of Life in North Ridgeville. He loved spending time with his family. His hobbies included listening to Blue Grass and Gospel Music.
He was a jack of all trades and enjoyed working on cars with his son.
Survivors include his loving spouse of 56 years, Barbara (nee Napier), three daughters, Javonna (Jeff) Neel of Ypsilanti, MI, Jacqueline (Tim) Workman of Elyria, Rhonda Richardson of North Ridgeville; son, Paul (Trena) Richardson of Grafton, four grandchildren, Leah Workman,
Brandon Neel, Ryan Workman and Lindsey Neel, and one great grandson, Michael.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Madison "Matt:" Richardson his, mother, Clara (nee Frye) Richardson, four brothers, three sisters.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Bogner Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be held on 11:00 am Friday at the Cathedral Of Life. Pastor Mike Payne will officiate.
Private internment will be in Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Eaton Twp.
