Jackie Frazier Chappell's Obituary
Jackie Frazier Chappell, age 86, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at his home after a lengthy illness.
He was born on September 16, 1931 in Phil Campbell, Alabama and has been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1953. Jackie was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Vermilion. He worked in the foundry at the Ford Motor Company, Brook Park Plant for 33 years, retiring in 1987.
Jackie was an avid sports fan and enjoyed collecting old Western movies.
He is survived by his children Faye M. (Jeffery A.) Sanders, Jackie Lee (Connie) Chappell, Christine M. Harkless, Jeremy F. Chappell and Mathew A. Chappell; grandchildren Jacob Chappell, Kara, Jeffery, Kelly, Krystal and Jon Sanders, Michelle and Marsha Harkless, Sarah Miller and Tori Dibiasa; great grandchildren Dillon Sanders, Adrian Frederick, Devin Petrella, Andre Frederick, Cody, Jacob and Brianna Sanders, Logan Iaska, Wesley Harold, Samantha Sanders, Mya Snyder and Landon Thomas; brother Raymond Chappell; many nieces and nephews.
Jackie was preceded in death by his former wife Ida Louise Chappell Munday (nee Evans); parents Fred Sr. and Martha (nee Carpenter) Chappell; brothers Fred, Kenneth, Ralph, Donald and Robert Ray Chappell and Gene Byrd.
Funeral Service Friday at 1:00 p.m. in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville, where family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until time of service. Rev. Arnold Mullins will officiate. Interment will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
