Jack Pintola age 80, of Elyria passed away Saturday evening at his home following a short illness.
He was born in Washington, PA and had resided in Elyria the past 47 years.
Mr. Pintola served in the US Army during the Korean War.
He enjoyed watching Harness Racing at Northfield Park, gardening and spending time with his family.
He retired from White Ready Mix in North Ridgeville in 1992 where he was a Batch Man for over 30 years.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Betty J.(nee Crook), daughters, Linda (Clyde) White of Huron, Cathy (Jerry) Mudge of Grafton, sons, John (Jeff Eason) Pintola of Akron, James (Eleanor) Pintola of Elyria Twp. five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and his sister, Kay (Frank) Dettore of North Ridgeville.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Anna (nee Comella) Pintola, brothers, Mike and Joseph Pintola, and sister Dorothy Capo.
Private services will be held at David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Rd North Ridgeville. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
