Jack E. Funk's Obituary
Jack E. Funk, age 82, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Fairview General Hospital following a short illness.
He was born in Washington, Pennsylvania and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1989. He previously lived in Lakewood and Berea.
Jack worked as an Industrial Engineer Supervisor for Ford Motor Company at the Brookpark foundry, retiring in 1988 after 35 years.
He enjoyed golfing, racquetball and was an avid Cleveland sports fan.
Survivors include his sons, Richard (Sharon) Funk of North Olmsted, Thomas (Teresa) Funk of Cleveland; daughters, Cheryl (Wally) Kobisky of Wellington, Carol (Timothy) Neal of S. Lyon, Michigan; daughter-in-law, Debbie Funk of Lakewood; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jack Jr.; parents, Glenn and Irene (nee Smith) Funk; former wife, Patricia; brothers, Robert, James and Richard Funk.
Friends may call Monday from 4-8PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11AM in the funeral home.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
