Jack E. Bailey's Obituary
Jack E. Bailey, age 80, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2020 at University Hospital Elyria Medical Center.
He was born in Weirwood, West Virginia and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1968, moving from Elyria.
Jack worked for General Motors for over 32 years before retiring in 1985.
He was a member of LaGrange Church of God where he had taught Sunday School since 1964. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and coached baseball for city and Hot Stove leagues and was known as Mr. Dairy Queen.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Norma, children, Sandy (Art) Palmer of Wellington, Jack Jr. and Jeff both of North Ridgeville, 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, brother, Ray of North Ridgeville and sister, Pat Foster of Pennsylvania.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Helen Bailey.
Friends may call Wednesday from 11AM until the time of services at 12PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Danny Wright will officiate. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Avon. Due to COVID 19, face coverings and proper social distancing is required.
