Irma Collins' Obituary
Irma Mae Collins (nee Springston), age 85, of Elyria, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 31, 2008 at New Life Hospice Residential Center, Lorain.
Born in Gilmer County, West Virginia on May 30, 1923 to the late Glen and Edna Springston.
On May 3, 1943, she was married to Robert E. Collins, who preceded her in death in 2004.
Irma was a housewife and a member of the Sand Fork Baptist Church, Sand Fork, West Virginia.
She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Becky Ann Stoner; great granddaughter, Samantha Ann Stoner and sister, Helen Yerkey.
Surviving are daughter, Karen (Terry) Stoner of Elyria; granddaughters, Darla (Joe) Culligan, Debbie Stoner; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Lorraine Marshall of Ripley, West Virginia and Betty Carmany of Indiana.
Visitations will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2008 from 12:00 Noon until the time of services at 2:00 PM at the Ellyson Funeral Home, 2 Van Horn Dr., Glenville, W. Va. with Rev. Tom Whaley officiating. Burial will be in Sand Fork Cemetery, West Virginia.
