Irene Branscum's Obituary
Irene A. Branscum (nee Poulsen), age 80, of N. Ridgeville, passed away peacefully Monday, September 8, 2008, at Wellington Place, N. Olmsted.
Born in Cleveland, she had been a resident of N. Ridgeville for the past 57 years.
She worked as an office manager for Value City Department Store in Elyria for 33 years, retiring in 1996.
Mrs. Branscum was an avid Cleveland Indians fan and enjoyed traveling, especially to Las Vegas.
Survivors include daughters, Lynn (nee Dienes) (Charles) Cecil, Linda (Mike) Rahrig; sons, Larry (Judy) Dienes and Victor "Bud" Branscum; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Branscum and by her parents, Victor and Dorothy Poulsen.
Friends may call Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville where funeral services will be held Friday, September 12, 2008 at 11 A.M. Entombment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon, OH.
