Irene Bilow's Obituary
Irene A. Bilow (nee Muntean), age 95, of North Ridgeville, passed away Monday, April 28, 2008 at New Life Hospice Residential Center, Lorain, following a short illness.
Born in Farrell, Pennsylvania, she was a resident of North Ridgeville since 1950 moving from Elyria.
She was the co-owner and operator along with her husband Burt, of Bilow's Variety Store in Elyria from 1948 until its closing in 1974.
Mrs. Bilow enjoyed decorating cakes, ceramics, flower arranging, traveling, being active with North Ridgeville seniors and loved visiting with her family.
Survivors include her sons, Jerald W. (Linda) of Columbia Station, Michael R.(Lynda) of Bath; daughter, Sally I.. (William) Burns of Avon Lake; grandchildren, Heidi, Julie, Shannon, Paul, Sam, Aaron, Jonathon and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Burton, March 5, 1979; parents, Andrew and Mary Muntean; four brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call Thursday from 7-9PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, N. Ridgeville. Services will be held on Friday at 11:00AM in the funeral home. Rev. Bradley Quick will officiate.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
