Iona Pearston's Obituary
Iona J. Pearston (nee Chesser) age 74 of Olmsted Falls, died suddenly Thursday November 10, 2005 at Southwest General Health Center.
She was born November 1, 1931 in Lorain. She resided in Olmsted Falls for the past twelve years. Prior to that, she had been a resident of North Ridgeville since the mid 1950's.
Mrs. Pearston was a dedicated homemaker who cared for everyone, and enjoyed family get togethers, watching people, and doing puzzles.
Surviving are her husband of fifty-three years, Leroy E.; three sons, David L. of Elyria, Douglas J. of North Ridgeville, and Dale A. of Chesapeake, VA; three daughters, Deborah A. Colman of Rochester, OH, Dianna L. Bruscino of Elyria, and Dawn M. Smith of Norwalk; seventeen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dottie Lavish of Bradenton, FL.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna J.; her parents Nedum and Evelyn Chesser (nee Fast) and her brother Roger Chesser.
Friends will be received 2-4PM Sunday November 13 at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville where
services will be held Monday at 11AM with Rev. Michael Manosky pastor of Sugar Ridge Baptist Church officiating.
Interment will follow at Ridgehill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp., Ohio.
