Inge H. Helmetz's Obituary
Inge H. Helmetz (nee Oblander), age 81, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018 at the Main Street Care Center in Avon Lake.
She was born on September 2, 1936 in Mannheim Kafertel, Germany and has been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 42 years, moving from Cleveland. She worked as a processor for 1st Merit bank for 30 years, retiring in 2006.
Inge enjoyed traveling, socializing with her friends, and was very active in the North Ridgeville community.
She is survived by her daughters Renee (Robert) Helmetz-Koch of North Ridgeville and Michelle Helmetz of North Ridgeville; cousin Heidi Frey of Germany.
Inge was preceded in death by her husband Joseph W. Helmetz Jr.
Family will receive friends in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville, on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to the time of a 12:00 p.m. Prayer Service preceding a 12:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter Catholic Church, 35777, Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville. Rev. Bob Franco will officiate.
Inurnment will be Friday, January 26 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Peter Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
