Ileen M. Sroka's Obituary
Ileen M. Sroka, (nee Cehelnik), age 73, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023 at St. John Medical Center in Westlake.
She was born in Portage, Pennsylvania and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1973 .
Ileen worked in the office of Fortney and Weygandt for many years, retiring in 2017.
She was a founding member of St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church in North Ridgeville where she was involved with the Rosary Group, Respect Life Group, Social Justice Group, Resurrection Ministry and St. Julie’s Cursillo.
Ileen was also involved with Friends of the Library in North Ridgeville.
She enjoyed reading, gardening, volunteering, and spending time with family.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Ron, son, Jason (Megan) Sroka of North Ridgeville, grandchildren, Kayla and Zachary, brothers, George (Judy) Cehelnik of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, Edward (Charlene) Cehelnik of North Olmsted, sisters, Kathleen (Frank) Kennedy of North Ridgeville, Darleen (Brian) Stevens of Cleveland and Colleen (Rick) Goforth of Vermilion.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Goldie (Sinclair) Cehelnik.
Friends may call Sunday from 3-6PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville.
A Mass will be held on Monday at 10AM at St. Julie’s Church, 5500 Lear Nagle Rd., North Ridgeville. Fr. Bob Franco will be the celebrant. Please meet at Church.
Burial will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
