Ida Smiley's Obituary
Ida Smiley (nee Dixon) age, 76, of Medina, passed away Monday, November 27, 2006 at Medina General Hospital following a long illness.
Born in Fallen Timber, Pennsylvania, she was a resident of Medina for the past month. She had lived in Litchfield from 1988-2006 moving from North Ridgeville where she lived for 20 years.
Mrs. Smiley enjoyed knitting and embroidering.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Samuel; daughters, Debbie Smiley of Neitherland, Colorado, Kristy Smiley of Toledo; sons, Terry Smiley of Detroit, Michigan, Cory Smiley of Westlake; seven grandchildren; brothers, John Dixon of North Ridgeville, Jim Dixon of Allison Park, Pennsylvania, Leon Dixon of Fallen Timber, Pennsylvania; sisters, Joann Dudurich of Irvona, Pennsylvania, Phyllis Deadmore of Abingdon, Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Elda Dixon; brother, Dean Dixon; sisters, Luetta "Bye" Westover, Florene "Sis" Williams; Peg Cantele.
Friends may call Thursday from 2-4 an 7-9PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Services will be held on Friday at 11:00AM in the funeral home. Rev. Chuck Behrens will officiate. Burial will follow in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio.
