Howard R. Sibley's Obituary
Howard Rodger Sibley, our Dad, Grandpa, Great-Grandpa of North Ridgeville passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at age 88 at SW Hospice in Strongsville. Howard was born to Lawrence Holden Sibley and A. Margaret Sibley on March 1, 1931 in Cleveland, OH. He graduated from John Marshall High School in 1949. Howard was in the United States Air Force from 1950 to 1955 and then worked for IBM from 1955 to 1988. He was married to Anne Marie Sibley (nee Lampone) in 1981 (the love of his Life). Upon retirement, Howard and Anne moved to Sun City Center, FL. He became a stained glass specialist working with the Arts & Crafts Club there. They later moved back to North Ridgeville to be among family. He is survived by his son Robert (Kareena) L. Sibley of Medina; stepsons Anthony (Kimberly) J. Palmieri of North Ridgeville, Vincent (Irene) J. Palmieri of Parma; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; sister Eleanor Kuhles of North Royalton.; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Anne Marie in 2017; parents Lawrence and A. Margaret Sibley; sister Alice S. Glasser. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 28, 2019 from 2 to 5 pm at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd, North Ridgeville where a prayer service will be held Monday at 9:30 am. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10am at St Peter Church. Rev Andrew Hoover will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery with military honors.
