Howard W. Congrove, Jr.'s Obituary
Howard W. Congrove, Jr, age 87 of North Ridgeville, passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at St. John Medical Center in Westlake.
He was born in Wellsville, OH, resided in Parma and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 53 years. Howard was a United States Air Force Veteran.
Prior to retiring in 1994, Howard worked as an aircraft mechanic for United Airlines and as the Truant Officer for the North Ridgeville City Schools.
He enjoyed traveling, collecting ball caps, model cars and coaching sports.
Surviving are his wife of Jean Ann (nee Kelly); daughters, Jozette (Scott) Thomas of Temple Terrace, FL, Beth Congrove of Jacksonville, NC, Tari (Raymond, Sr.) Colon of Temple Terrace, FL; sons, Bill (Amanda) of Brownsburg, IN, Tim of North Ridgville, Joseph Congrove of Cleveland; grandchildren, Dorian Congrove, Landry Thomas, Ariana Kelly, Cameron Thomas, Christina Colon, Raymond Colon, Jr., and Tucker Congrove; and a brother, Harold “Dietz” of Wellsville, OH.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard William, Sr. and Lucille Elizabeth (nee Yost) Congrove, and a sister-in-law, Rita Congrove.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 3:30 PM until time of funeral service at 6:30 PM in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, OH.
Interment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville on Friday, December 9 at 10 AM.
