Henry Garrity's Obituary
Henry S. Garrity, age 72 of North Ridgeville, died Thursday, January 20, 2005 at his residence following a short illness.
He was born April 14, 1932 in Glasgow, Scotland. He had resided in North Ridgeville the past 26 years moving from Lee, Massachusetts.
He owned and operated Henry S. Garrity Inc. which was a home construction business for over 50 years, retiring in 1994.
Mr. Garrity was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in North Ridgeville and Cleveland Glasgow Celtic Support Club, Cleveland.
He enjoyed gardening and working in the yard.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Agnes T. (nee McWilliams) daughter, Evelyn Rollins of North Ridgeville; 2 Sons, Michael Garrity of Akron, Mattew Garrity of Bay Village; , three grandchildren; three Sisters, Mary Jane Cassity of Lee, Massachusetts, Iris McInelly of Buster, Massachusetts, Jessie Cibelli of Lee, Massachusetts; 4 brothers, Michael, Thomas, Charles, and Robert Garrity all of Lee, Massachusetts.
He was preceded in death by Parents, Michael and Catherine (nee Moffat) Garrity, and two sisters, Esther Yehigian and Patricia Fullerton.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Saturday at St. Peter Church 35777 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Reverend Stephen Kaminski, Pastor will be the celebrant.
Interment will follow in the St. Peter's Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Charity of Donors Choice.
